Lewis' 9-month photos were my absolute favorite. We had so much fun setting up this adorable little backdrop. All you need is an amazing photographer and this shopping list to pull off this fun photoshoot with your kiddo.
Balloons and helium were the most important things to have for this photoshoot, and unfortunately, we were experiencing a helium shortage at that time. Luckily, Target had one kit left! In addition to this kit, I picked up a couple of smaller packs of balloons in the specific colors I wanted: white, green, and blue.
I found the large round basket that we used for this photo shoot at Target! After the photos were done, I used it for storing blankets in my home. It's adorable and has sturdy handles which we tied the balloons to.
I found this mini globe at Hobby Lobby. It was inexpensive and was a cute little detail that fit the vintage travel theme nicely.
Cotton cluster fiber can be found at any craft store. We taped it to the backdrop and spread it out on the floor to create the appearance of clouds. This was such an easy step and adds tons of dimension to the photos.
I used curling ribbon to attach the balloons to the basket and to each other, creating a clustered appearance. I picked up some curling ribbon from Hobby Lobby for this photoshoot. Curling ribbon is easy to work with because it's simple to tie and you can cut it at any length you need versus opting for rope. A rope would've been difficult to tie to the balloons and would've added too much weight.
Before your photoshoot, stop by your local antique store to find a vintage leather suitcase with lots of character. This small addition to the set adds some fun dimension to the finished photos.
